HFIP Packed GPC Columns

HFIP columns are packed with HFIP (Hexafluoroisopropanol) solvent. Engeneering plastics such as polyamides (Nylon), and PET (poly(ethylene terephthalate)) were formerly analyzed at high temperature, about 150 deg-C. By using HFIP, such engineering plastics can be analyzed at ordinary temperature.
