Standards for GFC

The analysis of molecular-weight distribution of polymers using GPC and GFC columns requires the calibration curve development to obtain information on molecular weights of samples of interest. Shodex STANDARDs are standard samples for calibration curve development. Polystyrene and Poly(methylmethacrylate) for GPC with organic solvents, including HFIP, and pullulan for GFC are available, from which you can select the most suitable one for the purpose.

Note: In the same type of Shodex STANDARDs, molecular weights (Mw, Mw/Mn, and Mp) may be varied, depending on production lots.

STANDARD P-82
Standard sample of fractionated, purified not-branched pullulan. This is easily soluble in water. Once dissolved, it does not recrystallize.
