Derivertization of Neutral Sugars by Pyridylamine

This is an example of the fluorescence detection of pyridylamino-saccharides. Asahipak NH2P-50 4E (a column for saccharides analysis) is used for the separation.

Sample :
1. 2-Aminopyridine
2. PA-Fucose
3. PA-Xylose
4. PA-Mannose
5. PA-Galactose
6. PA-Glucose

Column : Shodex Asahipak NH2P-50 4E (4.6mmID*250mm)
Eluent : [50mM Tris-HCl buffer + 25mM Boric acid(pH8.5)]/CH3CN=20/100
Flow rate : 0.5mL/min
Detector : Fluorescence Detector(Ex: 320nm , Em: 400nm)
Column temp. : 50deg-C
