Simulation for Shodex Columns for Saccharide Analysis
Select the type of the column to be used for the simulation.
(How to perform the simulation)
As an example, the way how to simulate the separation of sucrose and glucose using a SUGAR SP0810 column is described below.
1. Select "SP0810" from the list above and crick it.
2. A table will be displayed. Select "15" from the row of "sucrose" and crick "GO". (When the elution time of the saccharide whose elution time is the longest dose not exceed 15 minutes, "15" should be selected. And, when it exceeds 15 minutes, "25" should be selected.)

3. The chromatogram of sucrose using SUGAR SP0810 will be displayed. Print the chromtogram.

4. By the same way, display the chromatogram of glucose using SUGAR SP0810 and print it.

5. Overlap the two chromatograms and you can see how will be the chromatogram when sucrose and glucose are separated using a SUGAR SP0810 column.
In order to overlap the two chromatograms, use of trnasparent paper such as paper for OHP is recommended.
(Note 1) It is meaningless to overlap the chromatograms of different columns. Be sure to overlap the chromatograms of the same column.
(Note 2) It is also meaningless to overlap the chromatograms of different time ranges. Be sure to overlap the chromatograms of the same time range.
(Note 3) If a software which can handle "AIA" type files is available, you can download "AIA" files whose extention is .pdf by crickink "DL" at the column of "A" and use them in the software to obtain a overlapped chromatogram.
